Adding Green Hosts October Employee Birthday Celebration, Fostering a Warm Corporate Culture

On October 31, Adding Green held a heartfelt employee birthday celebration at the office, sending special birthday wishes and carefully prepared gifts to its October-born employees. This event is part of the company’s broader effort to cultivate a positive corporate culture and strengthen team bonds. This birthday celebration honored three employees born in October, with personalized gifts prepared by the company to express gratitude for their hard work. John Ning, the founder of Adding Green, attended the event in person and delivered a speech, expressing his hopes that birthday celebrations like this one help employees feel the warmth and support of the company, making it feel more like a family.

John Ning, founder of Adding Green, is also a trailblazer in China’s cement crafts industry. In his speech, he shared his entrepreneurial journey, which began in 2001 when he founded Hong Ying Craft Products Factory. By 2003, the company had grown to over 200 employees and was pioneering advanced techniques in sand-based and transparent resin series, which were challenging technologies at the time. Thanks to his keen analytical skills, John quickly mastered the key points of these production techniques, and the quality of his samples earned high praise from clients. By 2007, the company secured its first major order of 2.5 million units, generating nearly 40 million RMB in revenue. However, the global financial crisis in 2008 presented severe challenges, and the company was forced to reduce its scale by half in 2010.

In 2012, John took a step back to re-evaluate his career direction and firmly resolved to focus on work that would positively impact society and the environment. He reflected, “For the next decade, I wanted to dedicate myself to something meaningful and beneficial for society.” To this end, he not only resumed his English studies but also built his own foreign trade team. Through interactions with international clients, he discovered the potential of cement craft products as a sustainable solution. Cement crafts not only offer an eco-friendly production process but are also non-polluting in use, and can incorporate solid waste like construction debris, sawdust, crushed stone, and broken glass to “turn waste into treasure.”

In 2014, John founded Shenzhen Adding Green Technology Co., Ltd., officially entering the cement crafts sector. Despite facing significant challenges in the R&D process, John carried out over 2,000 tests, tirelessly refining formulations and staying late in the workshop each night to monitor and analyze results. Finally, in October 2013, Adding Green made a breakthrough and showcased its cement craft products at a Hong Kong exhibition, where they received unanimous praise from clients. At the time, only scientists in Western countries were able to achieve this level of craftsmanship in cement casting, but Adding Green’s production costs were only one-tenth of theirs. In 2014, the company obtained a national patent for its invention, paving the way for industrialized, large-scale production of cement crafts.

In his birthday speech, John encouraged employees by saying, “Adding Green has come this far thanks to everyone’s collective efforts.
